On Wednesday, 12 November, 2014, two TARS researchers, Prof Raphael Grzebieta and Ms Lori Mooren, received special acknowledgement of their outstanding achievements in road safety by the Governor General, Sir Peter Cosgrove, at the Annual Awards Ceremony organised by the Australasian College of Road Safety (ACRS).  ACRS President, Lauchlan McIntosh and Executive Officer, Ms Claire Howe, arranged a special meet and greet event with the attending College Fellows where His Excellency, Patron of the College, shook hands with each fellow and expressed his appreciation for their effective work in road safety.
