Dr. Wang received her PhD in Statistics from the University of Sydney. Her main research interests focus on robust statistical analysis of financial time series using heavy-tailed distributions via Bayesian computational methods and scale mixtures density representation. Joanna Wang joined the Transport and Road Safety (TARS) research group at the University of New South Wales as a research fellow. She focuses on evaluating the effect of road safety policy intervention on outcomes such as injury rates using statistical models.
