Mike is a Research Fellow at the Transport and Road Safety (TARS) Research Group, University of NSW. Prior to joining TARS he worked as a research fellow at the University of Sydney, and spent 5 years as an academic at Monash University, Melbourne. He has published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers in engineering dynamics, plasticity and energy absorption, and vehicle crashworthiness. His current research includes the injury biomechanics of motorcyclists and rollover crashworthiness.
